Peri's Story:

Perihan Gulen is 7years old, her parents are Kazim & Christine Gulen
(Turkish/Cypriot - New Zealander).

Perihan has been performing for just over 4 months. She first performed on 29 January 2005 at the Welwyn Garden/Hatfield Festival where she gained 1st Place. Since then she has been placed in 1st position for Luton and Watford as well. She qualified for the "All England Dance Championships" a prestigious competition within the dance community which is held only every 2 years. Perihan has competed against many other little dancers (perhaps as many as 50) some who have had longer training and experience at dance festivals. Perihan has taken her very first Ballet Exam only in March of this year, with the Royal Academy of Dance awarding her a Certificate of Distrinction.
